Renue Physical Therapy Donates 22 Tackling Dummies to Bay City Western High School Football Program

(Auburn, MI) – Renue Physical Therapy recently donated the cost of 22 high-quality tackling dummies to the Bay City Western High School football program. This contribution will enhance the training and safety of the student athletes as they continue their 2024 season.

The tackling dummies, designed to withstand rigorous use and improve player performance, are a significant addition to the team’s training equipment. By providing these tools, Renue aims to support the local community and promote the importance of sports safety and development for young athletes.

“At Renue, we believe in the importance of physical wellness and injury prevention,” said Renue Auburn Managing Partner Jake Young, PT, DPT. “By donating these tackling dummies, we hope to provide Bay City Western’s athletes with the best resources to train safely and effectively. We’re excited to support their journey both on and off the field.”

Renue has a long history of supporting community programs in Auburn and in the many communities it serves throughout mid-Michigan.

“Supporting local schools and youth sports programs has been a passion of ours for more than a decade,” said Renue Physical Therapy CEO Tony Klapish. “We recognize the dedication and hard work of the Bay City Western football team and coaching staff, and we’re thrilled to contribute to their success.”

Bay City Western Head Football Coach Chris Willertz and his staff have enjoyed putting their team to the test with the new tackling dummies.

“We are incredibly grateful to Renue Physical Therapy for their generous donation,” said Coach Willertz. “Our equipment can take a beating, and having access to new, high-quality gear is a great asset for our athletes. We are appreciative of Renue’s support.”
