     Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Announces

    State of Education Event

     

    BAY CITY, MI – The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce announces the State of Education event set to take place on Wednesday, October 30th from 11:15am to 1:00pm at Liberty Harbor Event Center.

     

    Attendees will hear from educational leaders Gretchen Wagner, Director of Early Childhood Education, Bay Arenac ISD, Dr. Justin Ralston, Superintendent, Essexville-Hampton Public Schools and Dr. George Grant, President, Saginaw Valley State University. In addition to this panel discussion, guests will have the opportunity to engage in table discussions with educators, exploring current challenges and collaborating on ideas to enhance educational outcomes. This dialogue fosters strong partnerships between the business community and local schools.

     

    The event will also highlight the Jerome L. Yantz Partner in Education Award, which recognizes significant contributions to the K-12 education system in Bay County. This award celebrates individuals and organizations dedicated to enriching the educational experience for local students.
