Frankenlust Township

About Us

Frankenlust Township was organized in 1881, becoming the eleventh township of Bay County. It is located in southern Bay County just southwest of Bay City and approximately 10 miles north of Saginaw. It is bordered by Monitor Township to the north, Portsmouth Township to the east, Saginaw County’s Kochville and Zilwaukee Townships to the south with Tittabawassee Township to the west. It is also home to 3 golf courses, Bay Valley Resort & Conference Center, Bay City Country Club & Twin Oaks.
