The Bay-Arenac Great Start Collaborative is a partnership of parents and community leaders from child welfare, health and mental health, education, philanthropy, faith and business, working together to ensure positive outcomes for young children and families. Our vision is that all children will enter kindergarten safe, healthy and ready to succeed in school and in life.

View Personal BioMr. Rich VanTolRich Van Tol has more than 20 years of experience in education administration, community development, talent & economic development, including early childhood systems-building, early childhood education, special education, school health, school safety, school nutrition and before/afterschool programs. Moreover, Mr. VanTol is leading the Out-of-School Time (OST) STEM Network for the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance.
