Applications are now being taken for participation in VISION TRICOUNTY:  A Regional Leadership Institute, sponsored by the Midland Area, Bay Area and Saginaw County Chambers Commerce.  This regional program, designed for identified leaders in each of the three represented counties, delivers a full regional message and instills a regional perspective to give participants the means to not only identify issues of concern, but also reach solutions. 

The curriculum includes sessions on the economy, statewide issues affecting our region, education, and social issues, and “idea sessions” to help participants identify critical issues affecting our region and develop the best methodology to address these issues. 

The program features full days of curriculum on the following dates:  February 5th, February 6th, February 26th, March 26th, April 23rd, May 21st, June 4th and the evening of June 9th (graduation).

In order for regionalism to succeed, leadership is needed and VISION TRICOUNTY:  A Regional Leadership Institute is all about developing such visionary leaders.  Institute graduates—“Regional Ambassadors”—will be entrusted with the task of helping to ensure a successful future for our larger, regional community.
